Counselling or Coaching?

Many people wonder which approach they need — and often, the answer is both.

As an ADHD-informed counsellor with lived experience, I meet people who come to therapy for very different reasons. Some need emotional support and understanding; others need guidance about structure, help with motivation as well as building a sense of self-advocacy and accountability.

This service bridges those needs through integrative counselling (to support emotional wellbeing) and coaching-informed tools (to build practical change).

Living with ADHD can come with layers of stress or trauma — from inconsistent motivation to years of feeling “too much” or “not enough.”
Together, we’ll make sense of these experiences and guide you towards the next steps that fit you.

By the end of the six sessions, you’ll have:

  • A clearer understanding of your ADHD profile

  • Insight into emotional and practical challenges

  • A direction for future support or strategies

Body Doubling (Optional FREE Add-On)

Body Doubling means working alongside someone to help with focus and follow-through.
My approach is flexible and ADHD-aware — you can choose how much structure or presence you need.

You might prefer:

  • A quiet, non-intrusive session – gentle company while you work

  • A guided, structured hour – with check-ins and accountability

  • Or a blend, depending on your energy and focus that week

This service complements the counselling sessions and helps turn insight into action.

We can discuss Body Doubling during your free 20-minute consultation to see if it’s the right fit for yoSu.
